The Giambanco Reserve is more than a spirit—it’s a celebration of family, heritage, and the American Dream. In 1976, my parents, Sicilian immigrants, opened their first Italian restaurant, weaving the foundation of the Giambanco legacy. Raised in the warmth of that kitchen, I learned the art of hospitality, the weight of tradition, and the courage to chase bold dreams.
From those roots, I built Il Forno Bar + Grill in Ashland, VA—a place where food and community unite. But I dreamed of crafting something deeper, a spirit that embodies our Sicilian fire and hard-earned journey. Thus, The Giambanco Reserve was born.
What sets us apart is our proud distinction as the first bourbon and tequila brand owned by Sicilians. This heritage infuses every bottle with a unique passion and perspective, blending the bold spirit of Sicily with the craftsmanship of American distilling.

The Adriano Edition 2025 consists of a high-wheat mashbill of 66% corn, 22% red winter wheat, and 12% 2 row malted barley all grown at walnut grove farms where we visited, all heirloom organic grain, heritage strains.
Nose: Honey, brown butter, dried hay, apples, vanilla, and oak. With a slight ripe banana tone.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel with notes of caramel, vanilla bean, biscuits, sorgham, brown sugar, cherries, and pepper. The wheat provides a smooth, sweet character, and balanced spice structure.
Finish: Medium to long finish, often described with lingering notes of sweet oak, cinnamon spice, pepper, and sometimes a hint of tobacco or fig.
